We took all of the best attributes of our old Ralide-West panniers, and created a user-friendly, economical box that surpassed all of the USFS and Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee (IGBC) requirements for bear-resistance. The TrailMax Pack Panniers can be purchased as a set, complete with rigging, for use with a Decker or Sawbuck pack saddle. We also offer the bear proof panniers sold individually without the rigging straps for use as a bear proof food storage container for car camping, rafting, boating and off-road adventures.
