The chink is a three-quarter-length pleasure or work chap which secures to the upper leg with buckles and straps. Chinks have an "open" design, which allows the best circulation of air. It is the most versatile chap and offers good upper leg protection from trees, brush, and other elements while offering less restriction to movement. Highly recommended for summer riding.

Our Custom Basic Chinks are made from 5-6 ounce premium top grain deluxe leather, which is a very supple, long-lasting leather. Please note that "Buckskin" describes the color and tanning of the chap leather, not the origin of the leather. This is a cream colored cowhide. The tanning process of the leather that achieves this color ultimately makes this chap leather smoother and more supple than any other.

• Front Belt: Adjustable front belt is a ⅝" latigo leather strap, and comes standard with a chrome or brass #121 buckle. The buckle can be upgraded.
• Back Belt Doubled and stitched chap leather laced on with a V-braid
• Top and Side Yokes Can be matching or contrasting chap leather. Side yokes are optional.
• Leg Straps and Leg Buckle Straps: Chap leather straps come standard with two heavy chap leather straps and buckles per leg.
• Conchos (side): Stamped steel, slotted conchos attached with chap leather strings are standard; can be upgraded.
• Fringe: Standard is 6", cut from Leg
