The chink is a 3/4 length pleasure or work chap which secures to the upper leg with buckles and straps. Chinks have an "open" design, which allows the best circulation of air. It is the most versatile chap and offers good upper leg protection from trees, brush, and other elements while offering less restriction to movement. Highly recommended for summer riding.

Our Deluxe Chinks are made from 5-6 ounce premium top grain deluxe leather. They feature a ¾" reinforcing strip sewn to the upper thigh and a rolled and stitched backbelt that is laced on in a V-braid fashion. The adjustable front belt is a ⅝" latigo leather strap with a chrome plated cart buckle. The leg is secured by three latigo straps.

Our Deluxe Chinks are built specifically for you, and may take up to 5 weeks for delivery. You have your choice of colors, top yokes, side yokes and conchos. You may also choose to add a pocket. Some options may have an additional charge. You can view several variations of Deluxe Chinks here.

*Please note that "Buckskin" describes the color of the chap leather, not the origin of the leather. This is a cream colored cowhide. The tanning process of the leather that achieves this color ultimately makes this chap leather smoother and more supple than any other.
