These are highly recommended by the Leave No Trace backcountry ethics cooperative effort of the US Forest Service, the US Department of Interior, the National Park Service and the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Additionally, the US Forest Service Wilderness Regulation #36CFR261.6 states that damaging any tree or vegetation is a violation resulting in a $200.00 fine. Our 6' long Tree Saver Straps are made from 2" wide seatbelt webbing with chrome-plated steel rings. They prevent your highline rope from cutting into and damaging tree bark. Sold as a pair.
