Rene Ogan, coauthor of two previous trail guide books, draws from over two decades of wilderness experience.
Her adventures include many backcountry trips in the northwest from hiking, packing and riding horses and mules to snowmobiling and motorcycling. She resides in Ellensburg, Washington with her husband, Greg and three sons, Ross, Greg and Corey. The Ogan family enjoyed years of vacations and pack trips in many vast wildernesses.
