These steel line tighteners are light and durable. Use on guy lines to keep them taut and help prevent wind damage. Easy, fast and reliable, they are an essential item for any well equipped tent. Also great for securing tarps and canopies from damaging winds. Works on line up to 5/16 inch in diameter
To use:
- Run the stake end of your line through the "tunnel", starting at the short end of the triangle.
- Form a loop for your stake, coming back to the single hole of triangle and knotting.
- Loop the rope around your stake and pull tensioner up the rope until as tight as you can get it while keeping the rope straight in teh tensioner.
- Finish tightening rope by turning the tensioner so that long side of triangle is facing the stake.
