Adjustable Position Close Contact Rigging
Standard Front Rigging on all GEN II Trail Saddles and the #259 Mule Saddle

This rigging eliminates bulk under the rider's leg and allows the saddle to be rigged in the full, 7/8 or 3/4 position.
Full position provides greatest stability to the front of the saddle. A rear cinch is used to stabilize the back.
3/4 position offers the most stability in a single rigging, stabilizing both front and back.
7/8 position is the most commonly used position for trail riding, providing enough stability to the front of the saddle without interfering with the horse's movement.

Choosing the Proper Cinch Length for Tucker Saddles
- Tuckers Western Style and EBR rigging
styles are all drop riggings. If you are currently using
western drop rigging, your current cinch length should be
fine. If you are currently using in-skirt western rigging, you
should order a cinch 2-4" shorter than your current
cinch.
- If you are currently riding an English
hunter saddle and ordering a Tucker saddle with western or EBR
rigging, you may need to subtract up to 8" from your current cinch
length. If you are currently riding an English dressage saddle
and ordering a Tucker saddle with western or EBR rigging, you
current cinch length should be adequate.
- If you are currently riding an English
hunter saddle and ordering a Tucker saddle with English
rigging, you may need to subtract up to 4" from your current cinch
length. If you are currently riding an English dressage saddle
and ordering a Tucker saddle with English rigging, you may need to
add up to 4" to your current cinch length.
- Please note that the above is not a guarantee of cinch fit. Without being able to fit your
saddle to your horse, we cannot recommend an exact cinch length.
- All Tucker cinches are neoprene.
