These are going be the perfect addition to my pack gear for my mules. I can't wait to use them on my Elk hunt in Colorado this October.

I have four 5-Star pads and find them to be of exceptionally high quality. I have used Cool back pads in the past and after tightening the cinch found after loading the packs that I had to retighten the cinch again. The Cool back pads compressed. With 5-Star once I sung up the cinch and then load the panniers I seldom need to retighten. I would recommend purchase of a 5-Star pad to start and avoid duplicate purchases for the same type of pad. Great product.
