Here’s how it works:

Saddle your animal with the Modified Decker pack saddle.

Load the canvas panniers onto the pack saddle by looping the hanger straps over the arches. The “ears” on the modified-style arches will hold the pannier straps in place without needing Decker hooks.
- Stabilize the panniers by buckling the bottom strap to the middle cargo ring on the pack cinch.
- Finally, secure the top pack to the boxes. Once secured, it acts just like a diamond hitch holding your load firmly.
The canvas panniers are perfect for carrying food, kitchen equipment, and heavier gear, while the top pack is ideal for lighter, bulkier items such as sleeping bags and tents. This system makes packing enjoyable and accessible for everyone.
