This breast strap won't choke your horse on those long uphill grades. A full 3.25" wide, the contoured backcountry leather breastcollar distributes the weight of the saddle and rider equally across the chest of the horse without cutting in. The over-check strap prevents it from slumping while going downhill. Tug straps attach to your breastcollar Dee rings or to your rigging for proper positioning.
Made from either richly-colored, high quality English bridle leather or Hermman Oak Old World harness leather. Both options are lined with latigo leather to prevent soring or chafing of your horse.
