Fits the bill! | 10/20/2020 |
| I've been searching far and wide for a simple yet rugged gun case for my Accuracy International AXMC rifle chambered for 338 Lapua Magnum. The Trail Max Long Range Rifle Scabbard fits the bill! It's a bit tight around the bolt handle if I run it with the bolt installed. Other than that, there's plenty of room, even with the tallest ERA TAC adjustable inclination scope mount and Tangent Theta 5-25X56 Professional Marksman scope as well as a small Harris bipod (6-9") installed. | YES...this is the one I needed. Have not put it on the saddle or horse yet. I have the Guardian too & its too tight & have to remove my muzzle breaks & slings. Here are the firearms Ill be using in the Long Range scabbard: 1. Browning A Bolt Wood stock 7mm Mag with a 4-16 50mm scope, 28 1/2 bbl including break, 48 1/2 overall length. 2. Christensen Rogue 300 Win Mag, Composite stock, 3-9 50mm scope, 24 bbl including break, 47 1/2 overall length. Comes with 2 Zippers that meet in the middle or on the ends. The zippers are along one side like a suit case with a flap covering protecting the zippers from the elements. I do wish it had larger Zippers & Buckles that would make it easier to operate. Zippers are really stiff on the ends & kind of hard to operate with my big fingers, believe theyll free up with time & use. A roomy outside Zippered pocket for shells etc. Velcro straps inside of the case to secure your firearm with heavy canvas like straps & brass buckles to secure to the saddle or ATV. I may even tie on my shooting sticks to the scabbard if the horse agrees! Ive looked far & wide for such a scabbard for my long guns with a full side zippers & economical as this one. You can get a custom job if youve got the funds! When I look at my wants & needs, this is the one! The real test will be the end of October....Lock & Load! | ||

| Fits my 338 RUM with 3.5x50 mm nightforce perfect with plenty of room to spare . This is a very well made scabbard with straps inside to secure your expensive long range rifle . GREAT PRODUCT ! | ||
